Donations for UNICEF

In these difficult times for the Mediterranean basin following several earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. WD-International is doing its bit. If you haven't already heard, on Monday 6 February a tragedy struck south-east Turkey and northern Syria: 2 very violent earthquakes. The first, at 2.17 am (French time), reached a magnitude of 7.8. Then, around ten kilometres from the first quake, the second, at 11.24 am (French time), reached a magnitude of 7.5.


This tragedy has wreaked havoc, with over 22,000 dead, more than 6,500 buildings destroyed and almost 80,000 injured (figures taken on 10/02/2023). The human toll is terrifying, and WD International remains sensitive to these events, offering you the opportunity to add items to your shopping basket when you place your orders to make a donation to UNICEF.

UNICEF has already set up humanitarian aid on the ground. By making donations, you can also help the victims of these earthquakes to recover basic necessities such as drinking water, blankets for the winter and hygiene kits to limit disease.
